The registration period ranges from 40 days to four months, and is issued for a longer period than a tourist one. A visa to Russia for Ukrainians in 2021 is not required. Thanks to their shared Soviet past, Russians and Ukrainians can visit each other using a regular internal passport. Since the beginning of 2015, the period of temporary stay in Russia of foreign citizens who arrived in the Russian Federation in a manner that does not require a visa (including citizens of Ukraine) cannot exceed 90 days in total during each period of 180 days, except in cases provided for federal law, as well as if such a period is extended in accordance with the law.

If a Ukrainian, during his previous stay in Russia, exceeded the period of stay of 90 days in total during each period of 180 days, he is prohibited from entering the Russian Federation for a period of 3 years from the date of departure from Russia.

Referring to information received from the director of the consular service department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Andrey Sigiba, in early April the Ukrainian news agency UNN disseminated information that for now citizens crossing the border between Russia and Ukraine will not need a foreign passport. Andrey Sigiba says that bilateral agreements were signed between the countries, according to which at the moment all Ukrainians and Russians can cross the common border using internal passports.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the question of introducing a visa regime for travel by Russian citizens to Ukraine and, accordingly, Ukrainian citizens to Russia, has never arisen. Asian countries for which Ukrainians do not need a visa

Bahrain. Permission to cross the border must be obtained only at the airport upon arrival. This document allows you to stay in the country for 14 days. To register, citizens must fill out an application form in English;

Abkhazia. Mandatory requirement: the passport must be valid during the period of stay in the country. The maximum duration of a trip for Ukrainians is 100 days;
