Russian citizens have the right to freely enter the territory of the peninsula, which has been part of the Russian Federation since 2014. Covid restrictions for Russian tourists in Crimea
Entry of Russian citizens to Crimea is free. There is no need to present a PCR test, and quarantine is also not provided.
If necessary, a tourist can be tested in a laboratory of a government agency or in a private company. In the latter, samples are taken from persons without signs of illness: fever, cough, shortness of breath.
The mask regime is in effect in public places throughout the peninsula. Retail establishments do not serve visitors without masks. Social distancing is required.
Despite the fact that the administration of the peninsula allowed entry into the territory without PCR tests, sanatorium and resort institutions were given the right to independently establish rules in this matter.
Some resorts require a test result and may not allow a guest to check in without it. Therefore, when buying a ticket, be sure to check what the requirements are at this institution.
Thus, due to the improving epidemiological situation in Russia, “Covid tests” will not be required for Russian vacationers to travel to the Crimean Black Sea coast.
